Okay, don't ask why, but count to 90. We'll wait.

It's not an uncommon load time on a 28.8 K connection, and the more graphics that a site has, the longer the load times will be. That is, of course, if the graphics aren't optimized.

File and image optimization, which lightens the load of graphic-heavy sites, enables fast download times without negating aesthetic values. The optimization process reduces the file sizes of images and graphics, which therefore reduces load times, sometimes as drastically as from 90 seconds to less than 20.
